Deliver Technical Project Management and Microsoft Project technical consulting with the cream of the crop! EPM is a rapidly growing Project Management consulting firm with immediate openings for Technical Project Management Consultants with extensive experience web development and networking – any Microsoft Project experience is a plus!
Requirements:
- In depth knowledge of executing Project Plans through project design, development, implementation, and support.
- 1 – 5 years experience as a developing Software/Web Application in a Windows environment including development in a Windows 2003 Server environment. Must have experience using two or more of the following technologies: Active Server Pages (ASP), XML, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Microsoft .NET technology, Visual Basic, VBA, SQL Server.
- Solid knowledge about Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server and Windows Sharepoint Services.
- Basic skills extend to scripting languages (JScript, VBScript, JavaScript) and ASP. Project guides that will reference the project database require PDS with C++ or Visual Basic to compile the DLL for the PDS Extensions and of course SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Project 2002/2003 including deploying, installing and configuring Project Server; using MS Project Center admin features to set up web-based views, users, and cleaning-up database or using Microsoft Server admin to set up portfolio analyzer views (OLAP Cubes), web-based views, users, and clean-up database.
- Use of Microsoft Project server and familiarity with collaboration features.
- Other important technologies include experience with MS SQL Server 2000, SQL data modeling tools, IIS 4.X and higher, Windows SharePoint Services, installing and configuring Windows 2003 Server. Any experience with Windows XP is a huge plus.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend opportunities for providing additional services for current clients and new services for potential clients.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences, MIS or related required. Masters Degree Preferred.
- Holding any of these certification is definite added advantage:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) from PMI.
- ACPM (Associate Certified Project Manager) from PMI.
- Prince2 Foundation level exam.
- Prince2 Practitioner level exam.
- IT Project+ from CompTIA.
- Microsoft Office Specialist in MS Project 2000 (Preferred 2002).
- Passed exams 70-281 or /and 74-131
